An employee leaving employment is encouraged to complete an exit interview with the Executive Director or the director’s designee.  When the Executive Director is the immediate supervisor, a member of the Personnel Committee of the Board of Directors shall conduct the interview.

During this interview, the employee shall be asked about their employment experience and shall be informed of any termination benefits and any continuing obligations he/she may have such as keys, books, tools, equipment, uniforms and other property that shall be returned at this time. Information provided during the exit interview can help the organization improve and retain valued employees. No negative consequences shall result from honest discussion during the exit interview.
